{"id":9984,"date":"2022-08-18T05:07:30","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T05:07:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9984"},"modified":"2022-08-18T05:07:30","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T05:07:30","slug":"2023-huge-crowd-as-tinubu-visits-obasanjo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9984","title":{"rendered":"2023: Huge Crowd As Tinubu Visits Obasanjo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A huge crowd of supporters yesterday welcomed the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bola_Tinubu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Asiwaju Bola Tinubu<\/a>, to Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, where he discussed with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The eminent politician was welcomed to the ancient town by Governor Dapo Abiodun; former Governor Olusegun Osoba; his deputy, Senator Gbenga Kaka; Senator Gbenga Obadara, former Governor Gbenga Daniel, Femi Majekodunmi, Tunde Oladunjoye and Kunle Adeyemi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Tinubu was accompanied by former APC Interim National Chairman Chief Bisi Akande, House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, former APC National Vice Chairman, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Senator Andy Uba and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A source said the private meeting between Obasanjo and Tinubu lasted for two hours at the Presidential Library, Abeokuta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt was a family affair; a Yoruba affair; and a national affair.
