This came days after Idibia posted a public apology for being an embarrassment to his wife and family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the said statement shared via his Instagram page, Idibia wrote, \u201cThis is no stunt. I\u2019m sorry for all the embarrassment I\u2019ve caused my wife, my kids, my mother and all our families and my management team. I\u2019m not looking for no sympathy I\u2019m not trying to make myself look good. This is no reverse psychology bullshit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI simply just don\u2019t want to be the one that always apologise. I\u2019ve been a sh*ty father and a sh*ty husband and sh*ty baby daddy. I have no excuses. I just want to do right by my wife, and my kids and their moms and my mom and all families and my manager and friends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to the rumours of his alleged affair which trailed the apology, the musician slammed peddlers of the rumour for speaking about things they had no idea about.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cUna too like \u2018belle\u2019 matter,\u201d he wrote via his Instagram stories on Monday. \u201cSee person wey no even know who be their senator just dey insult wetin dem no even get any idea about. Una welldone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cFather forgive them for their brains have been fried.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The singer\u2019s management has also debunked the claims, stating that 2face\u2019s apology was in no way connected to the rumour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">2Face\u2019s manager, Efe Omorogbe, shared a release via his Instagram account on Saturday, where the rumour was tagged \u201cfalse and malicious.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iconic Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face, has reacted to rumours of him having an extra-marital affair.
