{"id":9856,"date":"2022-08-07T15:51:20","date_gmt":"2022-08-07T15:51:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9856"},"modified":"2022-08-07T15:51:20","modified_gmt":"2022-08-07T15:51:20","slug":"italy-resident-arrested-for-ingesting-heroin-at-lagos-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9856","title":{"rendered":"Italy Resident Arrested For Ingesting Heroin At Lagos Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\">Solo Osamede, a 37-year-old indigene of Ovia LGA, Edo State and resident in Italy; has been arrested for ingesting 41 wraps of heroin.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-9857\" src=\"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/3A945E4A-932E-4BA3-A423-C6F5CA1A60FA-135x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"135\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/3A945E4A-932E-4BA3-A423-C6F5CA1A60FA-135x300.jpeg 135w, https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/3A945E4A-932E-4BA3-A423-C6F5CA1A60FA.jpeg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 135px) 100vw, 135px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">He was arrested by Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Osamede in a statement by Femi Babafemi, Director, Media &amp; Advocacy<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja on Sunday 7th August 2022, was nabbed and taken into custody for excretion while attempting to board a Turkish Airline flight to Milan, Italy via Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday 30th July. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The swallowed wraps of the illicit drug were recovered in four excretions, which the suspect completed on Monday 1st Aug.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Also at the SAHCO export shed of the airport, attempts by some freight agents to export two consignments of cannabis in a consolidated cargo to Dubai, UAE on Thursday 4th Aug were thwarted by NDLEA operatives who have arrested two of them in follow up operations. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">They are: Oladipupo Oladapo Fatai and Animashaun Qudus, while two others are still at large.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Chairman\/Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig. Gen.
