{"id":9749,"date":"2022-07-29T09:44:59","date_gmt":"2022-07-29T09:44:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9749"},"modified":"2022-07-29T09:44:59","modified_gmt":"2022-07-29T09:44:59","slug":"channels-tv-interview-olokoba-marvels-at-fasholas-brilliance-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9749","title":{"rendered":"Channels Tv Interview: Olokoba Marvels At Fashola\u2019s Brilliance, Performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Renowned activist and Convener, Razaq Kolade Olokoba Political Network Group, Comrade Razaq Olokoba has confessed he was marvelled at the brilliance of the honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), admitting that, \u201chis brilliance has manifested in his superlative performances in any duty he is assigned to handle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The famous Ilorin, Kwara State born right crusader expressed his mind to our correspondent in Lagos Friday, while reviewing the interview conducted with him on the award winning Channels Television and anchored by the ace brocaster, Seun Okinbaloye where Fashola reviewed the state of the infrastructure in the country under President Muhammadu Buhari administration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to Olokoba, what made Fashola spectacular in that interview just like his other engagements with the media and the public is how he was analysing facts and figures without holdin any script, saying, \u201cthe minister was a\u00a0 good personality to behold and there is no doubt that, it is God in His infinite mercy that blessed this administration and the whole country with Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF).\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Citing a couple of instances in the interview that excited him, the vocal public commentator and political analyst said, \u201cit is heart-warming and happiness inducing to realise that the much awaited Second Niger Bridge will be open for use by or before December this year,\u201d agreeing with the minister that, \u201cthat road always witness heavy traffic of human and commercial goods especially during the Yuletide.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The youthful activist, who is also the National President of Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG), was full of joy hearing the Minister\u2019s efforts on the just 100 kilometre Ilorin-Jebba road which has been a death trap for decades, praising the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), who was used by God to reduce the four day journey to mere 90 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Speaking further, Olokoba was full of admiration for the Minister, who was one time governor of Lagos State for successful two terms, when he recalled that, traders who used to pass through the hellish of a road sometimes lost their perishable farm products to harsh weather while cattle dealers had lost several heads of cattle which either died or slaughtered and given out to the neighbourhood communities at a great loss.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The elated political commentator could not hide his excitement on the extent of works on the Ogbomosho-Oyo axis that has remained dilapidated for ages, testifying that, \u201ctruly, we my group had a very smooth ride on that road on our way to Ilorin recently where we held a mega rally in support of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2023 election.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Recall that the Razaq Kolade Olokoba Political Netwwork Group stormed Ilorin, Kwara State capital to mobilise support for Mallam Saliu Mustapha (Senate), Governor AbdurRahman AbdurRazaq (Second Term) and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (President).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The youth leader, who was also impressed about the level of works on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway said seeing is believing and that the achievements are concrete ones, commended the Minister for adding values to the current administration in terms of standard infrastructure of global standard reminding that, infrastructure development is on President Buhari\u2019s top list of priority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt is also gratifying to note that Fashola is not exerting energy only on road construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation and repairs alone, he has not neglected the Housing aspect of his ministry.
