{"id":9502,"date":"2022-07-14T17:57:50","date_gmt":"2022-07-14T17:57:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9502"},"modified":"2022-07-14T17:58:24","modified_gmt":"2022-07-14T17:58:24","slug":"lagos-assembly-service-commission-boss-sacked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=9502","title":{"rendered":"Lagos Assembly Service Commission Boss Sacked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">In a unanimous decision on Thursday, the Lagos State House of Assembly voted for the sack of the chairman of the State House of Assembly Commission, LAHASCOM, Wale Mogaji.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mogaji&#8217;s sack was approved after a voice vote by members of the House at plenary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The lawmakers appointed Mrs. Folashade Raulat Latona as the new Secretary of the Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Latona replaces Mrs. Esther Lambo, who retired recently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The House also confirmed Barrister Olalekan Onafeko as the substantive Clerk of the House while it elevated three other senior staff to the position of Deputy Clerks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Those elevated Deputy Clerks include Mr. Babs Animashaun, Mr. Taiwo Otun and<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mrs. Adenike Oshinowo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Onafeko was appointed Acting Clerk in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Earlier during the plenary, the House raised concerns over the recent boat mishap<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a unanimous decision on Thursday, the Lagos State House of Assembly voted for the sack of the chairman of the State House of Assembly Commission, LAHASCOM, Wale Mogaji.
