{"id":91,"date":"2017-04-26T15:10:33","date_gmt":"2017-04-26T15:10:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/madhousenaija.com\/?p=91"},"modified":"2017-04-26T15:16:20","modified_gmt":"2017-04-26T15:16:20","slug":"akiolu-vs-ooni-sues-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=91","title":{"rendered":"Akiolu Vs Ooni: Doyin Okupe Sues For Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">According to Dr Doyin Okupe on his facebook post tagged,&#8221;The Ooni and Oba of Lagos Incidence,&#8221; he stated thus:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">I have watched on video, with pain and Consternation the incidence that happened between our two very foremost and highly revered traditional rulers.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It is regrettable and a cause for great concern for we Yoruba people.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">But as our elders say &#8221; Okun ki iwo ruru, ki awa \u00a0ruru.&#8221; This matter is now, also as they say &#8221; Iso inu eku, a ma my mo ara ni &#8220;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Yoruba son&#8217;s and daughters should not give property or broadcast this matter too much. &#8220;Ete Awo Ete Ogberi&#8221;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It has happened it has happened. &#8221; Owo eni \u00a0ni a \u00a0fi ntun iwa eni se &#8220;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Our elders will settle this matter amicably. &#8220;Oro die ni a ma nso fun omoluwabi ti o ba de Inu &#8216;re, a di odindi.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">All our Yoruba traditional institutions \u00a0are sub deities and founded on ancient and divine foundations and culture. We cannot afford to rubbish any publicly. We are a foremost civilized race in Africa and hence cannot publicly bring opprobrium to desecrate our revered institutions. We have from time immemorial developed internal mechanisms for settling our thorny issues. This is the high point of Yoruba culture.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">I appeal to all true son&#8217;s and daughters of Yoruba to desist henceforth from further public pronouncement on this matter.
