All Progressives Congress chieftain and General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Lagos, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has described the N100million he paid for the APC presidential nomination forms as an investment.<\/p>\n
The APC presidential aspirant stated this while speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n Recalls that\u00a0Bakare\u00a0obtained the APC expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2023 Presidency last Thursday in Abuja.<\/span><\/p>\n He said he was not part of the decision making committee of the APC, adding that \u00a0presidential\u00a0forms were worth paying a huge amount of money for.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn talking about the cost, there\u2019s price to pay for everything, I\u2019m not part of the decision making process but if I\u2019m going to apply for anything and it is raised, the price has to paid.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The clergyman said further that the money was not thrown away but it was an investment in a party that needed resources to be a formidable party.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is not money thrown away, it is an investment into a party that needs resources to be a formidable party; yes it is a very high price.
