President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a meeting with some ministers and heads of security outfits at the State House, Abuja.<\/p>\n
The meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 19, 2022, comes one week after the recommendation by the Council of State.<\/span><\/p>\n In attendance are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari; and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.).<\/span><\/p>\n Ministers present at the meeting include the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retd.).<\/span><\/p>\n Also in attendance are the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice-Adm.
