{"id":6410,"date":"2022-02-10T18:06:15","date_gmt":"2022-02-10T18:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=6410"},"modified":"2022-02-10T18:06:15","modified_gmt":"2022-02-10T18:06:15","slug":"panic-as-armed-robbers-attack-bullion-van-in-ibadan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=6410","title":{"rendered":"Panic As Armed Robbers Attack Bullion Van In Ibadan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Armed robbers have reportedly killed some persons at the Iwo Road area of Ibadan, just after attacking a bullion van.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It was gathered that the Idi-Ape area of Iwo Road was deserted while the operation by the hoodlums lasted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A resident of the area, who identified himself as Waheed Adegoke, told our correspondent that the robbers attacked a bullion van and carted away money from it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe armed robbers attacked a vehicle conveying money at Idi-Ape. It happened at that junction where traffic light was,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cSome lives were lost but I don\u2019t know the exact number. The situation is terrible!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Another person said the bullion van was successfully hijacked, but none of the accounts could be confirmed as of the time of filing this report, as the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Adewale Adefeso, could not be reached.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The resident said motorists parked by the roadside and occupants fled to different places to avoid being shot by the hoodlums.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He said policemen from the Area Command at Testing Ground, Iwo Road, came to the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Armed robbers have reportedly killed some persons at the Iwo Road area of Ibadan, just after attacking a bullion van.
