The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement (ABAT) has donated food items to Love Home Orphanage, CMD Road, Shangisha and Hearts of Gold Children\u2019s Hospice, Surulere, Lagos as part of its efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the less privilege in the society.<\/p>\n
The gesture is part of ABAT Movement\u2019s food initiative for the needy and less privileged across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n Presenting the items, the Secretary to the group, Alhaji Lateef Ibirogba said the gesture was in fulfillment of the movement\u2019s tenets which was to carry out charity work so as to assist the less privileged and needy in the society.<\/span><\/p>\n According to him,\u201d Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement is a group that is doing everything possible to ensure that the national leader of our great party contested the forthcoming presidential election and take Nigeria out of doldrum.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThese kids that we have come to visit today are our children and we are here to identify with them. We felt the need to carry them along in the merriment of the new year. I\u2019m very happy with what I saw here today. This is a conducive environment for the kids to grow and become better in the society.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018I pray that they will grow up to be useful to the society and those with disabilities overcome it,\u201d Ibirogba prayed.<\/span><\/p>\n The Director of Admin, ABAT Movement, Hon. Ahmed Ipoola Omisore said the essence of the group\u2019s visit to the orphanage homes was to identify with the children and make them happy.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey are our children and we want to make them happy. We have been to many homes and we are equally here to put smiles on their faces. If our own children could be at home enjoying the new year, they deserved similar treatment too.<\/span><\/p>\n Receiving the items, Onasanya Oyetoke, a social worker and manager at Love Home Orphanage, thanked ABAT Movement for identifying with the orphans and expressed happiness over the gift items.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI want to say thank you. This kind gesture means a lot to us and we are not taking it for granted. We really thank you for identifying with the children at this time.
