The states include Plateau, Rivers, Ekiti and Lagos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In a press release signed by its Director of Media and Strategy, Mobolaji Sanusi Esq and made available to journalists on Friday, the chairman of the movement, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, said that the largesse is a demonstration of the love and kindness of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards the less privilege, adding that it is an extension of his humanitarian gesture to the needy and the less privileged during this festive season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cardinal Odunmbaku said the donation of the food items to Plateau, Rivers, Ekiti and Lagos States respectively, is the first phase of the donations to be made by the Movement, which he said, would be in batches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He promised that other needy people would be identified across the nation and their peculiar needs would be attended to by the Movement as the 2023 general elections draw closer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to Odunmbaku, ABAT Movement is a nongovernmental organization that is saddled with the responsibility of catering for the indigent and all Nigerians so as to ensure that the shackles of poverty ravaging the country is broken completely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While applauding Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly for his humane contributions in bringing this to fruition, Odunmbaku explained that the organisation has been working assiduously for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the next president of Nigeria and to also ensure that the shackles of poverty ravaging the country is broken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThis Movement is committed to the welfare of the Nigerian citizens irrespective of tribes, religions, places of birth or political affiliations. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu believes poverty should be banished from this country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI am using this opportunity to tell Nigerians that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has more for everybody in the country irrespective of their status.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI therefore use this opportunity to urge Nigerians to support Tinubu in his bid to develop the country,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In the same vein, Rt. Hon. Obasa has assured Nigerians that with the eventual emergence of Tinubu as president in 2023, there will be abundance for all to thrive on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe are working tirelessly to make sure people are happy especially during this festive period. The Movement shall continue to identify the needs of the people and do what we can in our own little ways.
