An Osun State based civil society group, Osun Concerned Citizens, has alleged the state government of sponsoring a protest against the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.<\/p>\n
According to the group, the protest is likely to hold this morning in Abuja, baring any change of plan. <\/span><\/p>\n The group, in a press statement issued and signed by its Public Relations Officer, Comr. Afeez Olakunle, said some government officials have gathered and transported the paid protesters to Abuja for the protest. <\/span><\/p>\n It maintained that the purpose of the protest is to call for the suspension of Aregbesola as earlier demanded by a sponsored group, the Human Rights Writer Association. <\/span><\/p>\n The group said the protest is not only political but reflects the desperate action of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to pull-down Aregbesola because of the crisis in the APC.<\/span><\/p>\n “We have it on good authority that the Osun State Government has bought some youths to stage a protest against Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior, in Abuja, today. <\/span><\/p>\n “The protesters were transported to Abuja yesterday and each of them was given N15,000.
