Sanwo-Olu on his speech delivered to the people of Lagos State on Tuesday, November 29, 2021 where he spoke on the Lekki Tollgate incident of last year October 20, 2021 and expressed the need to heal the wounds of the past with a view to strengthening the spirit of co-existence already operational among the people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">A lawyer and leader of the group, Eyitope Success-Adekunle Esqr, in a chat with our correspondent in Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, said the Governor\u2019s speech touched the heart and served as soothing balm to accelerate the healing process of the last year\u2019s sad episode, commending the governor for a speech well written and perfectly delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">It was against this background that the woman lawyer accepted the governor\u2019s request for a Match for Peace whenever it is slated to take place assuring that, \u201cmembers of our organization, as the name implies, are mothers of the nation who love their children to be well treated and cared for with the aim of making them comfortable and at peace.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">According to her, it would be ironical for an organization of all women to see an opportunity to strengthen peace and foster peaceful co-existence and shun it, assuring the governor that, \u201con the Walk for Peace we stand as mothers of all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">Speaking further, the vocal right activist agreed with governor Sanwo-Olu that. \u201cthe choice confronting us today is between restoring greater harmony or doing greater harm,\u201d and choosing harmony over harm, believing the Governor, it is his task to explain why all Lagosians should join him on the path that promises a more beneficial future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">The woman activist described as gratifying, Sanwo-Olu\u2019s commitment to facilitate better communication between the youths and the state\u2019s security machinery to resolve issues before they become intractable, expressing the delight that the governor\u2019s administration would make We will it easier for young people to initiate formal complaints on human rights violations through the Ministry of Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-originalfontsize=\"12pt\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">Success-Adekunle, in conclusion, assured the governor that, taking part in \u201cA Walk for Peace,\u201d which he would lead personally, is truly a clarion call\u00a0\u201cto herald the healing of our land,\u201d promising that, \u201cwe would not only join, we would even mobilise others to join with a view to making the exercise a huge
