Two self-claimed herbalists, Ajisafe Toheeb\u00a0and\u00a0Ogundayo Usman have been arrested over their alleged involvement in offences bordering on internet fraud.<\/p>\n

The duo and 24 others were arrested by the Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan Zonal Command at\u00a0Soka area\u00a0of\u00a0the state on\u00a0Friday, October 29, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were\u00a0arrested\u00a0following verified intelligence on their alleged involvement in cyber fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wilson Uwujaren, Head, Media & Publicity of the Commission in a statement, stated that four of arrested suspects claimed to be students of Lead City University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that twenty two of the suspects have been indicted by the investigation, which is still ongoing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Items recovered from them include cars, mobile phones,\u00a0television sets, Play Station5,\u00a0laptops, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The suspects are\u00a0Soyinka Emmanuel Oluwafemi, Olaoti Fawaz, Omoke Ogbonaya, Okhiria Alex, Olamilekan Ibrahim, Olagoke Olalekan, Adeniran Ibrahim Adesina, Olasupo Temitayo Ayomide, Adeniran Basit, Ogunsetan Gbolahan Oluwasegun, Balogun Salam Omolade and Olamilekan Ibrahim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Others are\u00a0Ilesanmi Mayowa, Amao Emmanuel Abiodun, Olakanmi Babatunde Abdulrahmon, Olasile Jide, Dauda Sodiq, Hammed Ayomide Rasheed, Sodiq Olaide, Idris Damilola Yusuf, Abdulramon Mubarak and Ogunbiyi Segun.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
