Exciting times lie ahead for new students and returnees alike as <\/span><\/span>the<\/span><\/span> celebrated Kava<\/span><\/span> &<\/span><\/span> Chai outlet will once again be at their disposal. <\/span><\/span>AUS students can even skip the queue and take advantage of a new online ordering system as well as a variety of special offers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Students have lots to look forward to as the new term approaches. Since its opening, Kava <\/span><\/span>&<\/span><\/span> Chai has been the go-to place for students and staff at the university, whether for meetings or simply to catch up with friends. There is a feeling of enthusiasm and renewed confidence in the air as the <\/span><\/span>COVID-19 <\/span><\/span>vaccine roll-out continues apace, creating a sense of normality for the year ahead.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Being the first of its outlets to open in the UAE, Kava & Chai at AUS holds a special place in the hearts of coffee drinkers, as it seeks to recreate traditional Middle Eastern tastes whilst using the most fragrant ingredients and modern techniques.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kava & Chai staff members have been fully vaccinated and have undertaken rigorous training to ensure that appropriate hygiene standards are met. Special <\/span><\/span>disposable yet <\/span><\/span>100% compostable cups not only <\/span><\/span>contribute to environmental preservation and <\/span><\/span>save on the washing up<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> but also allow customers an additional safety guarantee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first coffee houses are believed to have originated in Syria before spreading to the Arabian Peninsula and later to Turkey, by the 16th century. These became social hubs where people played board games, listened to stories and discussed the news of the day. Everyone was welcome. Differing views were exchanged, cultures mingled, all whilst enjoying a freshly prepared cup of coffee. <\/span><\/span>The Kava & Chai philosophy is to continue the original coffee house concept. Great pride is taken in the quality of the coffee and tea and in making sure that there is something there for everyone. <\/span><\/span>New flavours, such as the Kava<\/span><\/span>and Chai frappe, a subtle combination of coffee and tea or their signature<\/span><\/span> blend, Vimto Colada, a fusion of tropical flavours, are welcome additions to<\/span><\/span> the menu.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kava <\/span><\/span>&<\/span><\/span> Chai, a subsidiary of <\/span><\/span>Cres<\/span><\/span>c<\/span><\/span>ent Enterprises<\/span><\/span><\/a>,<\/span><\/span> currently operates five outlets across Dubai, as well as its <\/span><\/span>outlet <\/span><\/span>at the AUS in Sharjah.
