In his new role as VP of Research Barry will, in addition to continue leading Milestone\u2019s growing research department, also be responsible for an increased collaboration with universities to move forward the state-of-the-art in machine learning, especially in application to computer vision. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s13\">\n<p class=\"s13\"><span class=\"s11\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">This will be instrumental to help create the next generation of video software technology that will not only be innovative but for greater societal good. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s13\">\n<p class=\"s13\"><span class=\"s11\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u201cMilestone Systems has high ambitions for the future. We need to understand and predict future technologies and megatrends to help accelerate Milestone Systems\u2019 ambitious growth journey.
