Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) <\/span><\/span>organised <\/span><\/span>the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show<\/span><\/span> virtually from 26-28 October 2020<\/span><\/span>. The <\/span><\/span>3D carbon-neutral exhibition <\/span><\/span>attracted 1,076 exhibitors from 52 countries, and <\/span><\/span>63,058<\/span><\/span> visitors from around the world.<\/span><\/span> This is the largest number of visitors in the exhibition\u2019s history of 22 years.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It has achieved great success, especially as the innovative platform provided an exceptional experience for exhibitors and visitors from around the world. The exhibition reflects Dubai\u2019s commitment to supporting global efforts to increase the share of renewable energy and achieve the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability, as well as supporting the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, to make Dubai a global hub for clean energy and green economy,\u201d said Al Tayer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

WETEX and Dubai Solar Show <\/span><\/span>is the largest exhibition for water, energy, sustainability and innovation in the region and one of the largest specialised exhibitions worldwide. <\/span><\/span>The event has proven its international status as an integrated platform for energy, water and environmental companies, to promote their innovative products, services and technologies; and to meet decision-makers, investors, buyers and visitors from around the world to close deals and build partnerships, and to review the latest technologies and developments in these major sectors. The exhibition also provides an opportunity to identify market needs, current and future projects and opportunities in solar power projects in the region.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
