Following the release of his critically acclaimed cover to Ed Sheeran\u2019s hit single\u00a0shape of you<\/strong>, Terry Apala teams up with Big brother Naija Runner-up Bisola, on a Mid-tempo tune titled \u201cBad Girl\u201d<\/p>\n

Terry Apala shows his versatility once again on \u201cBad Girl\u201d, the song produced by Benie Macaulay tells an intriguing story of how he meets a lady and wants to be with her, with a top notch sound as usual, it is evident he is set to strongly sit on the throne as the \u201cNew Skool King\u201d.<\/p>\n

ABOUT TERRY APALA<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Terry Alexandar\u00a0Ejeh\u00a0(Terry Apala)<\/strong>\u00a0is a recording and performing artiste, singer, and song writer currently signed to\u00a0Nelson Jack Music<\/strong>. He started off doing music as a child, drumming on empty cans and rhyming to them to entertain his friends at the secondary school in Mushin. Growing up in Ajegunle also later influenced his musical direction. As a pioneer in his generation by making Apala; a possibly more indigenous genre of Fuji music, he has quickly gotten the attention of a lot of people, especially given that he is not Yoruba but an Isoko man. This has fuelled fans\u2019 respect and admiration for Terry but he has also been working at it for a long time.<\/p>\n

In 2000, Terry as the lead vocalist of\u00a0Mezo Soprano<\/strong>\u00a0led the now disbanded R&B group to victory during the launch of the Kanu Heart Foundation. As a result, the band got to perform alongside Orlando Julius and that was only the beginning. He was inspired growing up by the legendary Apala musician\u00a0Haruna Ishola<\/strong>, but what\u2019s more exciting is what he has done with it, a blend he calls \u2018Apala Hiphop\u2019<\/strong>. It features the tremulous, oscillating voice quality that is the trademark of Apala music, laced over catchy hip hop beats. Hit singles released with this formula include\u00a0\u2018Champagne Shower, \u2018Modernize\u2019<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Omidan\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018Mo Popular\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The success of these singles earned Terry various nominations including a much coveted spot in\u00a0the\u00a0\u2018Rookie of the year\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0category at the\u00a02016 Headies<\/strong>,\u00a0\u2018Most Promising Act\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0to watch at the\u00a0Nigeria Entertainment Awards<\/strong>, and\u00a0Indigenous Act of The Year<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Scream Awards<\/strong>, which he won. Terry has also had multiple collaborations with high profile artistes in the industry including\u00a0Olamide<\/strong>,\u00a0Reminisce<\/strong>,\u00a0Phyno<\/strong>,\u00a0Ice Prince<\/strong>,\u00a0Falz<\/strong>,\u00a0Korede Bello<\/strong>,\u00a0Flavour<\/strong>,\u00a0Orezi<\/strong>,\u00a0IllBliss\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0DJ Jimmy Jatt<\/strong>. As a songwriter, he also wrote the sound track for a film produced by\u00a0Annie Macaulay-Idibia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abisola Aiyeola is a Nigerian British born actress, singer, MC and presenter who rose to stardom after taking part in the just concluded Big Brother Naija reality Tv show. Before BBNaija, she is a great mimic and has done a lot of comedy skits and is well known on Instagram, she is also a voice over artist. Bisola became a popular figure in Nigeria entertainment scene after she contested in the 2008 edition of MTN Project Fame alongside Mavin singer Iyanya.
