Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22 April 2019, (<\/b>AETOSWire<\/b><\/span><\/a>):<\/b> The Coca-Cola Company\u00a0(TCCC)\u00a0has signed a 10-year agreement for the exclusive naming rights\u00a0of the brand new indoor multipurpose arena in\u00a0Dubai. Now known as the Coca-Cola Arena, the breath-taking venue is the largest of its kind\u00a0between Istanbul to Singapore and will further establish Dubai as a major destination for world music tours, sporting competitions, family shows and corporate events. <\/span><\/p>\n

The venue, with an impressive capacity of 17,000, is\u00a0scheduled to open in June this year.\u00a0The Coca-Cola Arena\u00a0will put Coca-Cola at the centre of the entertainment landscape\u00a0in the region\u00a0and will join a growing number of entertainment venues around the world where Coca-Cola is served. <\/span><\/p>\n

Up there with iconic locations like Piccadilly Circus in London or Times Square in New York City; the latest addition to the Dubai skyline will be proudly named under the global icon\u00a0Coca-Cola, bringing\u00a0the best in global entertainment and sports to the region. <\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on the new agreement,\u00a0Murat Ozgel, General Manager of Coca-Cola Middle East and Deputy Business Unit President of Coca-Cola Middle East and North Africa said: \u201cThis is a milestone\u00a0deal\u00a0for The Coca-Cola Company as\u00a0the Coca-Cola Arena will\u00a0bring more than 40\u00a0events every year\u00a0to the hugely anticipated destination, putting us at the centre stage of entertainment. The Coca-Cola Arena will firmly position itself as a leading destination helping Dubai claim its place among the main global metropoles like NYC, Tokyo, Paris and London.<\/span><\/p>\n

Music, sports and entertainment are part of the fabric and heritage of Coca-Cola brand DNA and the arena is yet another example of our determination to create lifelong memories through unforgettable experiences\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The state-of-the-art multipurpose arena is owned by\u00a0Meraas\u00a0and will be operated by the reputable,\u00a0international venue management company AEG, who also operate London\u2019s O2 Arena, STAPLES Centre in Los Angeles, Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai and\u00a0Qudos\u00a0Bank Arena in Sydney. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
