Agege Local Government Area is set to host the FC27 Ultimate Edition PlayStation 5 Tournament on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with a total prize pool of N1.75 million up for grabs.<\/p>\n

The one-on-one gaming competition, scheduled to hold at the Agege Local Government Secretariat, is expected to attract gamers, football enthusiasts and young people from across Lagos State.<\/p>\n

The tournament will feature EA Sports FC27 on the PlayStation 5 platform, with participants competing for the ultimate prize under the theme, \u201cFair Play. Good Vibes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The winner will pocket N1 million, while the first and second runners-up will receive N500,000 and N250,000, respectively.<\/p>\n

A major highlight of the opening ceremony will be an exhibition match between two Lagos council chairmen, Alhaji Abdul-Ganiyu Vinod Obasa, Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, and Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA.<\/p>\n

The friendly encounter is expected to add excitement to the tournament as the two council chairmen take to the virtual pitch ahead of the main competition.<\/p>\n

Popular Nigerian entertainers Rahmon Jago and Small Doctor have also been confirmed as special guests at the event.<\/p>\n

Organisers said the tournament was designed to provide a platform for young people to showcase their gaming skills while promoting sportsmanship, healthy competition and community engagement.<\/p>\n
