The Women Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has intensified its grassroots activities in Katsina and Abia states as part of its ongoing mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 presidential election.<\/p>\n

The campaign efforts, which are being coordinated at ward and community levels, are focused on deepening engagement with women and other groups while strengthening support structures for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.<\/p>\n

In Katsina State, ward coordinators in Ingawa Local Government Area continued community-level engagements, taking the Directorate\u2019s mobilisation activities directly to residents.<\/p>\n

The outreach forms part of a broader ward-by-ward, community-by-community and door-to-door strategy aimed at expanding the party\u2019s grassroots network and encouraging greater participation in the electoral process.<\/p>\n

Similar activities are ongoing in Danja Local Government Area, where coordinators have been engaging women at women centres, schools, markets, vocational training centres and homes across various communities.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the team visited Layin Kwari in Ward 9, where it interacted with women and other members of the community on the 2027 election and the need for sustained grassroots participation.<\/p>\n

Representatives of Da\u2019awa groups, led by Hajia Hussaina Haruna, as well as the APC Tazarce group, represented by Husna Haruna Abubakar, took part in the engagement.<\/p>\n

The Directorate said its mobilisation strategy is anchored on direct contact with communities, particularly women who may not routinely attend formal political meetings or large rallies but remain active participants in elections.<\/p>\n

In Abia State, members of Multiply Exceedingly, widows and persons with disabilities have also joined Abia Women for Tinubu\/Kashim 2027 (TK27) through their association, Abia Widows of Great Vision.<\/p>\n

The group recently held a gathering centred on unity, prayer and fellowship, with participants offering prayers for Nigeria, President Tinubu, peace and national development.<\/p>\n

Prayers were also offered for Dr. Betta Edu, Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, ahead of her 40th birthday.<\/p>\n

The gathering brought together women, widows and persons with disabilities, highlighting their involvement in political mobilisation and the 2027 electioneering activities across Abia State.<\/p>\n

Participants further expressed their commitment to the 40 Million Women Votes for Tinubu\/Kashim 2027 initiative, pledging to remain united, organised and actively engaged ahead of the election.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
