President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending about four weeks in Europe, where he combined his working vacation with official and business engagements.<\/p>\n
Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, following his departure from Paris, France.<\/p>\n
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other dignitaries were at the airport to receive the President.<\/p>\n
Tinubu had departed Nigeria on August 30 for a three-week working vacation, during which he visited London and Paris and held several official and business engagements.<\/p>\n
His return comes ahead of Nigeria\u2019s 66th Independence Anniversary on Thursday, October 1, with the President expected to participate in activities marking the occasion.<\/p>\n
He is also expected to deliver a nationwide broadcast as part of the anniversary celebrations.<\/p>\n
