{"id":27173,"date":"2026-09-19T23:36:02","date_gmt":"2026-09-19T23:36:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=27173"},"modified":"2026-09-19T23:36:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-19T23:36:02","slug":"don-jazzy-poco-lee-get-obasanjos-savage-treatment-on-curiosity-made-me-ask","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=27173","title":{"rendered":"Don Jazzy, Poco Lee Get Obasanjo\u2019s Savage Treatment on \u2018Curiosity Made Me Ask\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has stirred reactions after jokingly telling comedian Isbae U that some of the biggest names in Nigeria\u2019s entertainment industry are not important enough for him to know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Obasanjo made the remark during an appearance on Isbae U\u2019s popular podcast, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Curiosity Made Me Ask<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, in an episode released on Saturday, September 19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The former president was put through a series of questions about his familiarity with prominent entertainers, including Carter Efe, Poco Lee and Don Jazzy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">When Isbae U asked if he knew Carter Efe, Obasanjo simply replied, \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The same response followed when he was asked about Poco Lee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">However, when Don Jazzy\u2019s name came up, Obasanjo reacted with an amused, \u201cHa.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The exchange soon turned into a playful back-and-forth, with Obasanjo noting that the comedian appeared to know people who were unfamiliar to him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cSo, you know people that\u2026 that I don\u2019t know,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">When Isbae U suggested that the entertainers might know Obasanjo even if he did not know them, the former president delivered the punchline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cAh, well, maybe because they no be important people, that\u2019s why. That\u2019s why the people you know, I don\u2019t know,\u201d he joked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Obasanjo then contrasted the entertainers with some of the prominent international figures he has encountered, citing the late Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cNow I tell you, I know Queen Elizabeth.
