{"id":26914,"date":"2026-08-22T06:47:54","date_gmt":"2026-08-22T06:47:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=26914"},"modified":"2026-08-22T06:49:25","modified_gmt":"2026-08-22T06:49:25","slug":"heartmenders-charity-foundation-reaches-more-vulnerable-families-in-lagos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=26914","title":{"rendered":"Heartmenders Charity Foundation Reaches More Vulnerable Families in Lagos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Heartmenders Charity Foundation has reiterated its commitment to supporting vulnerable families and easing the hardship faced by low income households through sustained humanitarian interventions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The foundation made the commitment during its seventh community outreach programme held at Deji Olamiju Street, Soluyi, Ifako, Gbagada, Lagos, where more than 50 households, including 30 women and 100 children, received various forms of assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Speaking at the event, the Founder and Executive Director of the foundation, Mary Fidelis Essien, called for stronger partnerships between government, humanitarian organisations, corporate bodies and individuals to enable more vulnerable Nigerians to benefit from welfare and empowerment initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">She said the prevailing economic situation had made life increasingly difficult for many families, particularly women and children, stressing that collaborative efforts were necessary to identify those in need and provide meaningful support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Essien said the foundation was committed to going beyond periodic donations by supporting vulnerable nursing mothers and families in underserved communities with basic necessities that could improve their quality of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Beneficiaries at the outreach received clothes, food items, liquid soaps, drinks, baby food and medical supplies, among other essential materials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Essien also urged the government to implement policies that would create more opportunities for Nigerians to earn sustainable incomes and reduce the pressure caused by the rising cost of living.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">She expressed appreciation to the organisations and businesses that supported the outreach, including Drug Aid Africa, Menitos Charity Foundation, Kachman, Cadbury Bournvita Nigeria, Bless Wigs, Rybles Educonsult, J &amp;
