{"id":26502,"date":"2026-05-04T18:45:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T18:45:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=26502"},"modified":"2026-05-04T18:46:42","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T18:46:42","slug":"alimosho-apc-unveils-consensus-candidates-as-ayuba-orelope-joseph-get-leaders-backing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=26502","title":{"rendered":"Alimosho APC Unveils Consensus Candidates, as Ayuba, Orelope, Joseph Get Leaders\u2019 Backing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho Federal Constituency have unveiled consensus candidates for key legislative positions ahead of the 2027 general elections, with Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Luqman Olatunji Orelope, and Kehinde Joseph securing the backing of party leaders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Ayuba emerged as the party\u2019s consensus candidate for the House of Representatives following consultations among leaders and grassroots stakeholders. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Party sources said his emergence reflects confidence in his capacity to represent the constituency effectively at the National Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">At the state level, Orelope was adopted as the consensus candidate for Alimosho Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, while Joseph clinched the ticket for Alimosho Constituency II. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Both candidates were described as having strong grassroots appeal and established political structures within their constituencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The consensus arrangement received the endorsement of prominent party figures, including former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Princess Joke Orelope-Adefulire; apex leader in Alimosho, Hon. Bisi Yusuf; and the Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The adoption meeting drew a large turnout of party stakeholders, including all six Local Government and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) chairmen in the constituency. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Those in attendance were Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson (Alimosho Local Government), Lasisi Akinsanya (Igando-Ikotun LCDA), Abiodun Agbaje (Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA), Abiodun Ejigbadero (Agbado\/Oke-Odo LCDA), Hon.
