their support behind President <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Bola Ahmed Tinubu<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, Governor <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Umo Eno<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, and Senate President <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Godswill Akpabio<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> for second terms in office, during a massive gathering held in Uyo, the state capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The event, which also featured the First Lady of Nigeria, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Oluremi Tinubu<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, highlighted the critical role of women in societal development, governance, and community leadership. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">In her address, the First Lady encouraged women to take active roles in shaping their communities, stating that empowering women drives national growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cProtecting the rights of women and girls through education, healthcare, economic opportunities, social protection, and equity is an investment in our collective future,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen women lead with purpose, the entire nation benefits.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Senate President Akpabio praised women for their foundational contributions to family and societal stability, while Governor Eno reiterated that the progress of any society depends largely on the participation and leadership of women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The highlight of the gathering was the official endorsement of President Tinubu, Governor Eno, and Senate President Akpabio for second terms, formally declared by Deputy Governor <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Akon Eyakenyi<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> and other leading women in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Before the political endorsements, First Lady Tinubu commissioned an ultra-modern Senior Citizens Center named in her honor. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Designed by the late Pastor Patience Eno, the center will offer healthcare, recreational activities, and social support in a dignified environment. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The First Lady urged families and communities to complement government efforts with love and care for the elderly, calling the center a model other states should
