Residents across the Lagos<\/span><\/a> metropolis have applauded the Noella Foundation<\/span><\/a> for its sustained humanitarian intervention through the distribution of food items to fasting Muslims during the ongoing Ramadan period.<\/p>\n

No fewer than 3,000 Muslims observing the fast are benefiting from the free feeding programme, which is being carried out simultaneously at 12 different centres across the metropolis in partnership with the FoodClique Support Initiative<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organisers of the outreach revealed that the initiative, now in its sixth year, may be expanded beyond Lagos to other states across the country before the end of the Ramadan fasting period.<\/span><\/p>\n

The programme, which began as an emergency response to food shortages and economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic<\/span><\/a>, has since evolved into a structured seasonal outreach designed to support families and individuals observing the holy month of Ramadan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking on the impact of this year\u2019s distribution exercise, the Co-Founder of the Noella Foundation<\/span><\/a>, Layal Tinubu<\/span><\/a>, described the initiative as a demonstration of collective responsibility and the strength of sustained partnerships in tackling hunger.<\/span><\/p>\n

She explained that since its inception, the Ramadan feeding programme has reached millions of beneficiaries, further strengthening the foundation\u2019s commitment to addressing food insecurity through practical and scalable interventions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also speaking, the Chief Operating Officer of the FoodClique Support Initiative<\/span><\/a>, Faruk Adetola<\/span><\/a>, expressed appreciation to the Noella Foundation<\/span><\/a> for its consistent financial support and year-round commitment to providing food for people in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

He commended the foundation for its compassion and dedication to the fight against hunger, noting that the organisation has continued to advocate for a society where no family goes to bed hungry.<\/span><\/p>\n
