Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa.

Rasheed made this assertion amid heightened public discussions surrounding party activities in Agege, particularly the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic membership registration exercise.

He argued that leadership performance should be evaluated through long-term outcomes, strong organisational structures, and continuous grassroots engagement, rather than short-term figures or transient data.

According to him, Agege’s political trajectory reflects a system built on discipline, credibility, and sustained engagement with party members and residents at the grassroots level.

He cited a recent strategic intervention by Speaker Obasa in support of the APC e-registration drive across Lagos State. In January, Obasa facilitated the provision of 80 5G-enabled tablets and 40 printers, alongside the deployment of trained personnel to assist the digital registration process statewide. Party officials described the initiative as a move aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, and participation in the party’s membership drive.

Rasheed noted that effective leadership requires consistency of vision, stakeholder inclusion, and the capacity to deliver measurable results over multiple political cycles.
