{"id":25772,"date":"2026-01-03T14:44:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-03T14:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=25772"},"modified":"2026-01-03T14:45:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-03T14:45:31","slug":"maduros-whereabouts-unknown-as-venezuela-demands-proof-of-life-russia-seeks-answers-after-us-strikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=25772","title":{"rendered":"Maduro\u2019s Whereabouts Unknown as Venezuela Demands Proof of Life, Russia Seeks Answers After US Strikes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodr\u00edguez on Saturday called on the United States to provide \u201cproof of life\u201d for President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, whom US President Donald Trump claimed was captured by American forces.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Speaking by telephone on Venezuelan television, Rodr\u00edguez said she did not know the whereabouts of Maduro or his wife, Cilia Flores, following a series of US strikes on Caracas and other cities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Trump earlier said Maduro and Flores had been captured by US forces and flown out of Venezuela.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Russia also demanded \u201cimmediate clarification\u201d over what it described as the reported abduction of the Venezuelan president during an attack ordered by Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWe are extremely alarmed by reports that Venezuelan President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and his wife were forcibly removed from the country as a result of today\u2019s US aggression.
