and ensure that children continue learning in safe environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">This year\u2019s global observance, themed <\/span><span class=\"s3\">\u201cChallenging Narratives, Reshaping Action,\u201d<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> highlights the urgent need to move beyond words and take practical steps to shield education from violence, insecurity, and disruption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cEducation is the foundation of hope, and safeguarding it means securing our future,\u201d the First Lady stated, stressing that protecting schools must remain a <\/span><span class=\"s3\">shared national priority<\/span><span class=\"s2\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">She commended Nigeria\u2019s security agencies for their commitment but maintained that communities, parents, and stakeholders must also join hands to defend children\u2019s right to education.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Tinubu also applauded the efforts of international organizations such as <\/span><span class=\"s1\">UNICEF, UNESCO, and the Education Above All Foundation<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, describing their work in advancing child education worldwide as a model of global solidarity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The <\/span><span class=\"s3\">International Day to Protect Education from Attack<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, established by the United Nations in 2020, draws attention to the millions of children affected by armed conflicts, insurgency, and targeted attacks on learning institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">With Nigeria still facing challenges of school abductions and insecurity in parts of the country, the First Lady\u2019s message reinforces calls for sustainable policies, community-driven initiatives, and global partnerships to ensure safe education for all
