{"id":24929,"date":"2025-08-15T12:48:18","date_gmt":"2025-08-15T12:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=24929"},"modified":"2025-08-15T12:49:20","modified_gmt":"2025-08-15T12:49:20","slug":"fg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=24929","title":{"rendered":"FG Approves \u20a6142bn Construction of Six Ultra-Modern Bus Terminals Nationwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Federal Government has approved the construction of six ultra-modern bus terminals across Nigeria\u2019s six geopolitical zones under the National Public Transport Project, in a move aimed at transforming the country\u2019s land transportation system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja while briefing journalists after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">He said the project, valued at \u20a6142.03 billion, forms part of the legacy initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s Renewed Hope Administration and is designed to improve travel safety, reduce accidents, and curb illegal highway activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThis is the first time the federal government is investing in modern bus terminals.
