The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, hosted visiting African First Ladies on the sidelines of the 32nd Annual Meeting of the African Export-Import (AFREXIM) Bank in Abuja.<\/p>\n

She commended the power of the arts in strengthening unity across the African continent.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event, which formed part of the Spouses\u2019 Programme, was held at the Nike Art Gallery in Abuja. It featured cultural dance performances, a fashion show, and an art exhibition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Senator Oluremi Tinubu noted that the continent\u2019s diverse cultures, ethnic groups, and traditions are among its greatest strengths.<\/span><\/p>\n

She expressed pride in showcasing one of Africa\u2019s foremost art galleries\u2014Nike Art Gallery\u2014to her distinguished guests, including the First Ladies of Malawi and Gabon, the wife of the Vice President of Tanzania, and a representative of the First Lady of Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nigeria\u2019s First Lady also led her guests on an excursion through Nigerian designer stalls to sightsee and shop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Though the reception had a relaxed atmosphere, its core message resonated with the broader agenda of the AFREXIM Bank Annual Meeting.
