Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has started<\/span> to<\/span>receive <\/span>applications <\/span>for participation <\/span>in the 27<\/span>th<\/span> edition of the<\/span>Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX<\/span>)<\/span>.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Organized by DEWA in <\/span>line<\/span> with <\/span>the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai<\/span>,<\/span>and <\/span>under <\/span>the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy<\/span>, the exhibition will take place<\/span> from <\/span>30 September<\/span> to <\/span>2<\/span>October<\/span> 202<\/span>5<\/span> at the Dubai World Trade Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

WETEX <\/span>is <\/span>the<\/span> region\u2019s<\/span> largest<\/span> trade fair<\/span>, spanning key sectors such as<\/span> energy, water, green development, sustainability, green mobility,<\/span> and<\/span> smart and sustainable cities<\/span>, alongside other<\/span> related <\/span>industries<\/span>. It is also<\/span> one of the <\/span>world\u2019s <\/span>largest specialised exhibitions of its kind<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 26th <\/span>edition of <\/span>WETEX<\/span>, held in 2024,<\/span> saw <\/span>the participation of<\/span> more than <\/span>2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries<\/span> and attracted 50,598 visitors from around the <\/span>globe<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the <\/span>exhibition hosted 21 international pavilions<\/span> as it drew leading local, regional and global companies in<\/span>volved in<\/span> the <\/span>production, <\/span>trans<\/span>mission<\/span> and distribution<\/span> of energy<\/span>,<\/span> including <\/span>from <\/span>clean and renewable<\/span> sources<\/span>,<\/span> as well as specialist<\/span> firm<\/span>s in<\/span> water technologies<\/span>,<\/span> digital transformation, cyber<\/span> security, information systems and networking security, green buildings, sustainable cities and <\/span>net-zero smart housing communities<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, the Green Mobility <\/span>Hall<\/span> at WETEX 2024 <\/span>hosted leading local and international companies in<\/span> mobility, transport and <\/span>sustainable<\/span> logistics<\/span>. <\/span>Additionally,<\/span> WETEX 2024<\/span> featured a<\/span> dedicated<\/span> hub <\/span>showcasing<\/span> the latest health and safety technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

It<\/span> also attracted <\/span>regional and international forums <\/span>seeking<\/span> new partners<\/span>, <\/span>broader<\/span> customer base<\/span>s<\/span> and<\/span> growth opportunities<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of WETEX 2024, <\/span>DEWA<\/span> also<\/span> organi<\/span>s<\/span>ed <\/span>the Future Energy Landscape Forum<\/span>, <\/span>bringing together<\/span> p<\/span>rominent government representatives, decision<\/span>–<\/span>makers, professionals, researchers, investors<\/span> and<\/span> specialists<\/span>, to discuss <\/span>oil <\/span>and<\/span> gas<\/span>sustainability. <\/span><\/p>\n

WETEX 2024 <\/span>hosted <\/span>a series of workshops and panel discussions <\/span>highlighting <\/span>Dubai<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> incentives <\/span>to companies looking to establish <\/span>their <\/span>headquarters or branches in the Emirate.<\/span><\/p>\n
