The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has officially announced the nomination fees for aspirants contesting in the upcoming local government elections across the 57 LGAs and LCDAs.<\/p>\n
According to the party, aspirants for chairmanship positions will pay a nomination fee of N5 million, while councillorship hopefuls will pay N1 million. An additional administrative fee of N500,000 applies to all categories.<\/p>\n
In a strategic move to foster inclusiveness and boost grassroots participation, the APC has introduced a 50% discount on nomination fees for youths and women. This means eligible female and youth aspirants will pay N2.5 million for chairmanship and N500,000 for councillorship, exclusive of the administrative charge.<\/p>\n
All aspirants must present stamped payment receipts before collecting nomination forms.<\/p>\n
