\u201cAs an educationist, I am glad that the NDDC recognizes education as a vital pillar of development. The distribution of 32,000 school desks and benches to public schools will ensure that children can learn in a more comfortable and conducive environment. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAll these initiatives align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly the priority areas of education, health, and social investment, which aim to build a healthier, more educated, and empowered populace.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Senator Oluremi Tinubu urged the people to take full advantage of the various interventions provided by the NDDC.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTo the good people of Bayelsa State and the entire Niger Delta region, this is your programme. I encourage you to take full advantage of these interventions, safeguard them, and continue to support efforts that enhance development in your communities.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n She noted that the numerous projects being inaugurated are proof that the government has put the right team in place to lead the NDDC.<\/span><\/p>\n Some of the projects commissioned by the First Lady after the flag-off of the free medical outreach include 11 ambulances and personal protective gear for selected hospitals in the region, the inauguration of a cottage hospital, the launch of a health insurance scheme for rural dwellers, the commissioning of a community secondary school in Otuasega, and the distribution of textbooks, school benches, and desks.<\/span><\/p>\n In his remarks, the governor of the state emphasized that the NDDC is playing a complementary role and commended the commission for its commitment to improving the region. He thanked the First Lady for her compassion and dedication to enhancing the lives of Nigerians.<\/span><\/p>\n The Minister for Regional Development, Engr.
