A chilling case of a missing graduate has taken a tragic turn as 28-year-old Ogubode Quadri Adedamola, who was declared missing on January 16, has been found dead and buried near a Celestial Church in Lagos.<\/p>\n
Ogubode, a graduate of Political Science Education from Lagos State University (LASU) and CEO of Horlar Edu Consultancy, was last heard from on the day of his disappearance. <\/span><\/p>\n His girlfriend revealed that he had called him, stating that he was in front of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Ileri Oluwa Parish, LASU 2, and would call back later\u2014a call that never came.<\/span><\/p>\n Following his disappearance, the police launched an investigation and visited the church based on the girlfriend\u2019s account. <\/span><\/p>\n However, the church\u2019s shepherd, Sup. Evang. Whepetoji Babaniyeh, denied seeing Ogubode or having any knowledge of his whereabouts.<\/span><\/p>\n Further investigations took a shocking turn when police retrieved Ogubode\u2019s bank statements, revealing that \u20a61.5 million was transferred from his account on the day he went missing. <\/span><\/p>\n A portion of the money was traced to the shepherd\u2019s account and that of his daughter, among others. Initially, Sup. Evang. Babaniyeh denied receiving the funds but later claimed it was for a thanksgiving offering when confronted with evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n This revelation led to his detention, and subsequent police efforts uncovered the gruesome truth. Ogubode\u2019s body was discovered buried near the church premises, allegedly under the shepherd\u2019s supervision. <\/span><\/p>\n A gun and an axe were also recovered at the scene, further deepening suspicions of foul play.<\/span><\/p>\n The police have intensified their investigation into the case, with Sup. Evang.
