{"id":22327,"date":"2025-02-21T12:58:22","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T12:58:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=22327"},"modified":"2025-02-21T13:00:28","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T13:00:28","slug":"22327","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=22327","title":{"rendered":"Full List: Liverpool face PSG as Real Madrid get Atletico in UCL second round"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"caps\"><strong>Liverpool have been drawn against Paris Saint Germain (PSG) <\/strong><strong>FC in the 2024\/25 UEFA Champions League (UCL) second round.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the draw held midday on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, the Merseyside club was paired with the French side for the first time since the 2018\/19 UCL group stage.\u00a0Liverpool were crowned European champions that season.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool qualified automatically for the round of 16 after finishing at the top of the league phase, while PSG had to take a longer route of play-off, where they thrashed Brest 10-0 on aggregate to proceed to the next stage.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the clash will face Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n<p>The Madrid Derby is another heavyweight fixture for the UCL round of 16.
