FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/span><\/a><\/span>\/AETOSWire<\/span><\/a><\/span>)– GA Telesis<\/span><\/a>, LLC (\u201cGA Telesis\u201d or \u201cthe Company\u201d) announced today that its current shareholder Tokyo Century Corporation<\/span><\/a> (\u201cTokyo Century\u201d) along with All Nippon Airways Trading Company<\/span><\/a> (\u201cANATC\u201d)<\/span>1<\/sup><\/span>, have collectively entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all shares held by Global Principal Finance Company LLC<\/span><\/a> (\u201cGPFC\u201d)<\/span>2<\/sup><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tokyo Century<\/a><\/span>\u2019s ownership after the closing of the transaction will increase to 49.2% and ANATC<\/span><\/a> will acquire a 10% interest in the Company. Tokyo Century<\/span><\/a> and ANATC<\/span><\/a> expect the transaction to close in October 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n

Separately, GA Telesis<\/span><\/a>, Tokyo Century<\/span><\/a> and ANATC<\/span><\/a> have reached an in-principle agreement to form a commercial engine leasing joint venture focusing on current technology jet engines. The equity will be provided by each party and the joint venture will be managed by GA Telesis<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The additional investment by Tokyo Century<\/span><\/a> will bolster and further diversify Tokyo Century<\/span><\/a>\u2019s existing aviation investment platform, which also includes a 20% holding in Aviation Capital Group, the world\u2019s premier aircraft leasing company, as well as a 16.7% position in Jetstar Japan. <\/span><\/p>\n
