The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled Rauf Aregbesola, a former Minister of Interior and two-term Governor of Osun State, over alleged anti-party activities.<\/p>\n
Aregbesola was accused of violating Article 21 of the APC Constitution, which outlines disciplinary measures for members.<\/p>\n
His expulsion was confirmed in an official letter from the party leadership.<\/p>\n
The letter, titled \u201cAllegations of Anti-Party Activities \u2013 Conveyance of State Exco Decision to You\u201d and jointly signed by APC State Chairman Tajudeen Lawal and Secretary Alao Olabisi Kamoru, stated that the decision followed an investigation and approval by the State Executive Committee (SEC).<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the end of the investigation, the SEC considered the report of the Disciplinary Committee. Having carefully reviewed the findings and recommendations, the SEC resolved to approve your immediate expulsion from the APC,\u201d the letter read.<\/p>\n
