The Chairman of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Fuad Atanda-Lawal, has pledged to continue serving the people of the area until he leaves office in about six months, while ensuring the completion of all ongoing projects.<\/p>\n
He gave this assurance during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Primary Health Care Centre, located on Ije Road, Dolphin Estate.<\/span><\/p>\n The Chairman described the project as a milestone and legacy initiative aimed at ensuring equitable access to healthcare for residents of the area.<\/span><\/p>\n Atanda-Lawal further promised that the project would be delivered on schedule within four months, despite initial delays caused by land-related issues.<\/span><\/p>\n According to him, the council has consistently increased salaries and allowances for medical doctors over the years. He reassured that those who will work at the new facility will enjoy a robust welfare package.<\/span><\/p>\n Clarifying his position on succession, Atanda-Lawal emphasized that he has not endorsed any successor but hopes the next administration will continue his legacy of people-centered projects.<\/span><\/p>\n He also expressed gratitude to the council management, staff, party leaders, and residents for their unwavering support over the last seven years.
