The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has celebrated the birth of the first baby of the year, a female born at the Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja.<\/p>\n
Representing the First Lady at the event, the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, congratulated the parents and prayed for the wellbeing of the newborns. <\/span><\/p>\n She urged parents to prioritize the health and welfare of their children, emphasizing the importance of giving them adequate attention and care.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe health and wellbeing of children should always be a priority,\u201d she stated.<\/span><\/p>\n Gifts and cash were presented to Baby Chioma Odion Oyigbo, a female baby born at 12:27 am, weighing 3.6 kg. <\/span><\/p>\n In addition, the baby received the hard copy of her birth registration certificate. Other newborns were also celebrated with gifts to mark their arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier in her New Year message, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, assured Nigerians of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s commitment to implementing measures aimed at deepening the nation\u2019s economy and positioning it for sustainable growth.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs we journey through 2025, let us rise above our differences and rebuild the bridges that connect us\u2014bridges of love, respect, and understanding. It is a year to invest in one another; to nurture our youth and protect the dignity of our elders; to create a country where every Nigerian can thrive, regardless of where they are born, what they believe, or what language they speak,\u201d the First Lady said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLet us stand together, lifting each other up, and ensuring no one is left behind.
