The Lagos State House of Assembly on Tuesday approved the appointments of key nominees for the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), alongside other state agencies, following a rigorous screening process.<\/p>\n
The confirmation came after a 12-member ad-hoc committee led by the Chief Whip, Hon. Mojeed Fatai, reviewed the nominees\u2019 credentials and qualifications. Addressing the House, Hon. Fatai highlighted that each candidate was thoroughly evaluated and deemed capable of delivering on the responsibilities of their respective roles.<\/p>\n
Hon. Sa\u2019ad Olumoh, another member of the House, praised the nominees as \u201cround pegs in round holes,\u201d commending their professional expertise and impressive qualifications.<\/p>\n
For LASIEC, the confirmed appointees include:
