Next year, let\u2019s make it a year of love and a cleaner, greener Nigeria,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The First Lady highlighted the Federal Government\u2019s commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians and assured that these efforts would continue with renewed vigour in the new year. She described 2025 as a year of hope, love, and the manifestation of God\u2019s goodness in the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Senator Tinubu also encouraged the children to show love to their friends, siblings, and neighbours, exemplifying the teachings of Christ, who is the reason for the Christmas season. \u201cThe reason we are all here is to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">During the event, she read from her book, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">The Christmas Story<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, which reimagines the birth, life, and times of Jesus using Nigerian characters. The book delivers a relatable message of hope and purpose, and the First Lady also engaged the children by answering their questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The children, who were from the Abuja Children\u2019s Home and the Vine Heritage Home Foundation (VHHF), participated in a national anthem contest, winning cash prizes.
