{"id":21076,"date":"2024-11-28T12:13:34","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T12:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=21076"},"modified":"2024-11-28T12:15:48","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T12:15:48","slug":"petroan-president-denies-allegations-of-increased-petrol-prices-by-nnpc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theblogonline.com\/?p=21076","title":{"rendered":"PETROAN President Denies Allegations of Increased Petrol Prices by NNPC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Billy Gillis-Harry, the President of the <a href=\"https:\/\/petroan.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria<\/a> (PETROAN), has issued a statement refuting claims made by the association\u2019s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Joseph Obele, regarding petrol prices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Dr. Obele had alleged that petrol from the <a href=\"https:\/\/nnpcgroup.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited<\/a> (NNPCL) was priced N75 higher than the N970 per litre offered by the Dangote Refinery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Gillis-Harry emphasized that the NNPCL has not announced any new prices for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">He clarified that PETROAN members have continued purchasing PMS based on the previous pricing structure while awaiting updated pricing information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The statement read: \u201cThe National Headquarters of Petroleum Products Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria, PETROAN Abuja, would like to inform the media and the general public that no new price for PMS has been released by the NNPC Port Harcourt Refinery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cMembers of PETROAN only bought PMS with the old pricing template, awaiting new prices.
