In an open letter signed by the party\u2019s new chairman, Elder Abraham Amah, dated November 8, 2024, and shared with South-East PUNCH, the PDP expressed doubt over the governor\u2019s claims regarding payments linked to past PDP-led administrations.<\/span><\/p>\n The letter states, \u201cThe Abia PDP is unaware of any such debt left by the immediate past PDP administration. It would serve Abians well if you could substantiate your claims with documented evidence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The party expressed concern over the substantial figure and called on Otti to clarify how the amount was calculated, noting that transparency in disbursing public funds is crucial for fostering trust. <\/span><\/p>\n The PDP further urged the governor to disclose the beneficiaries of these payments to reinforce public confidence in his administration\u2019s financial dealings.<\/span><\/p>\n The letter continued, \u201cThe public deserves to know who has benefited from these transactions.
