Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has appointed three key officials to his new administration.<\/p>\n
The announcement was made in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Fred Itua, shortly after Okpebholo\u2019s inauguration.<\/p>\n
The appointments include Barr. Musa U. Ikhilor as Secretary to the State Government (SSG); Hon. Samson Osagie, PhD, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice; and Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as Commissioner for Health.<\/p>\n
The statement noted that the nominations for Osagie and Oshiomhole will soon be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for confirmation.<\/p>\n
Barr. Musa Ikhilor brings over 11 years of experience in legislative drafting and governance from his work at the National Assembly, while Hon. Osagie, a seasoned legal practitioner and current Vice President of the African Bar Association (West African Region), has served in the Edo State House of Assembly and House of Representatives.<\/p>\n
Dr. Oshiomhole, the nominee for Commissioner for Health, has a strong background in medicine, with advanced studies in public health, environmental health, and clinical research from institutions including Harvard University and Queen Mary University, London.<\/p>\n
