The Muslim Community of Lagos State has pledged to sustain the existing peaceful and cordial relationship among adherents of different religious groups in the state.<\/p>\n

It also vowed to protect the interests of all Muslim communities across the metropolis, without bias toward sect or tribe.<\/span><\/p>\n

The newly sworn-in President of the organization, Hon. Chief Mohammed Bello Oyinlomo Danmole, gave this assurance in his acceptance speech after the swearing-in ceremony of the executive committee held at the Alausa Secretariat Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oyinlomo Danmole, who emphasized his commitment to an inclusive leadership, assured that his team would reach every part of Lagos for the overall benefit of the Muslim Ummah.<\/span><\/p>\n

He appealed to both Muslims and non-Muslims to be patient with the administration of President Bola Tinubu, noting that the President has good intentions for the country and that Nigerians will soon benefit from current policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the responsibility of repositioning the country for better performance is a collective one. He urged people to avoid those with divisive motives that do not benefit the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oyinlomo Danmole also cautioned marketers and traders who habitually impose high prices, especially on food items, to desist from doing so, as it only worsens the hardship faced by the people.<\/span><\/p>\n
