He was very vibrant as a senator and performed exceptionally well as the Executive Governor of our dear Lagos State. He made Lagos the envy of other states both at the local and international levels. Even while we were being bashed during the campaign, we didn\u2019t waver because we believe so much in what he has done in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLook at the issue of the dollar and subsidy removal. These are areas that really made a great impact. Some people were of the opinion that he shouldn\u2019t have mentioned the removal of subsidy in his maiden speech, but when you know there is an issue, why are you so afraid of taking necessary action?<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI’m one of the people who supported the removal of the subsidy. There was no better time to do it than at that time. And I want to believe that he is a proactive president. Why am I saying this? He already foresees what the impact will be.
