reiterated that no girl deserves to be left behind in receiving an education due to mistakes or errors in their past.

She emphasizes that they should be given the opportunity to pursue their life dreams instead.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu made these remarks during the commissioning of the newly built Alternative High School for Girls in Bauchi State.

She mentioned that she conceptualized this type of school while serving as the First Lady of Lagos State, which led to its establishment there.

The First Lady acknowledged that girls might drop out of school due to various reasons such as early marriage, pregnancy, lack of financial support, or trafficking.

However, she believes that the Alternative High School for Girls offers them a chance to rectify their past and move forward positively.

During the event, Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, announced that the first set of enrollees would receive full scholarships.

Additionally, the First Lady inaugurated a new ICT center named after Zainab Bulkachuwa, the First Female President of the Court of Appeal.

She emphasized the importance of technology in achieving gender equity and national development.

<p and girls.

The handover of the ICT center, built by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in collaboration with RHI under its Social Investment Program, also occurred simultaneously in five other locations: Jigawa, Ebonyi, Cross River, Oyo, Niger, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Furthermore, the First Lady conducted an empowerment ceremony for 600 vulnerable individuals in Bauchi State, including orphans, widows, and persons with disabilities, on behalf of the State Government.

They received various food items and a cash grant of N50,000 each, provided by Governor Senator Bala Mohammed.

<p
