Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has quipped that one of his \u201clife goals is to make Jose Mourinho smile\u201d after the Manchester United manager suggested Liverpool \u201chad to win the Premier League\u201d this season.<\/p>\n
Mourinho claimed the Anfield club are \u201cbig candidates\u201d for the title having spent \u00a3170m on four players this summer.<\/p>\n
But Klopp has dismissed those comments before Saturday\u2019s meeting between the two sides in Michigan in the International Champions Cup.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a free world and I have no problem with Jose,\u201d said the German.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are responsible for our fans, our owners and nobody else. I am not too interested in Man Utd.\u201d<\/p>\n
Klopp\u2019s response follows Mourinho\u2019s suggestion Liverpool will have set a \u201cPremier League record\u201d this season, after spending nearly \u00a3250m in the last 12 months.
